Light+Building April 2008 in Frankfurt

Winning DESIGN PLUS 2008 award Messe Frankfurt presented the Design Plus Award to the outstanding exhibitors and designers of Light+Building. During the fair, Slimline were to be seen at a special show in Hall 4.2 (stand G 41). Design Plus honors outstanding product design by exhibitors of Light+Building. Design Plus nowadays ranks among world’s leading design competitions and has stood for high standards of aesthetics and functionality for some 20 years. During this time, it has become established as a seal of quality for technical innovations distinguished by a top-class design. Design Plus is awarded to products characterized by a highly attractive design coupled with technical development and everyday utility value.

Slimline description In the opinion of the jury the innovative design of the SlimLine lighting system enables lighting without any dark zone interference, something which so far has not been possible in this form. The closely arranged T5 light sources with angled ends and a simple, ready to plug in 3pin connector system create new possibilities even in the tightest of installations. The dimmable output of 5 to 100% provides savings of up 80% in energy costs. With this system it is possible to simulate the many different daylight situations-for instance sunrise, midday sun or sunset
